I am slowly excepting the fact that I am slowly getting.
With that, I realize that I need to stop with my Hello Kitty obsession and other little kid things.
In reality, I will not give them up, but I am considering to give myself more nice, classic items.
One of the first things that I decided to treat myself to was a Henri Bendel compact mirror. I never thought I would spend so much on a mirror, but I thought it was the first step to treating myself to something that I can have for years and enjoy overtime.
I thought that with the mirror, I need a lipstick to match. In my mind, I could not put on just any lipstick with my mirror, so I turned to the YSL lipsticks that I have heard so much about.
It was an excuse to get a rouge volupte lipstick, which I have been obsessing over for awhile now.
I obsessed for the right reasons, it is one of the greatest lipsticks I have ever tried!
I think that everyone needs some unique items that can make you feel special and important for yourself. I suggest that everyone walks the talk by having/carrying some special pieces to keep them feeling like they are good enough.
Because come on-not everyone will be able to afford YSL clothes, but can splurge on a YSL lipstick and can get the same results!
I also failed to mention my most recent splurge that is very unrealistic- but for me, my GAGA item :)
