This post and the other one are a little bit late, but these past couple of days seemed to mesh together from a long night out.

Nonetheless, Fourth of July is one of my favorite holidays. It is an easy excuse to get friends and family together and have a relaxed, fun-filled day.

BBQ food, sparklers, and many laughs are the highlights of my night while I stayed mostly excited over the fact that I own a pair of red, white, and blue shoes that cannot be worn often...but no better day than the fourth!

My outfit worked because of the red,white and blue theme as well as a cute nautical-based outfit for a summer night.
For any holiday, get into the spirit with your outfit! You do not need to go over the top, but to take the colors or a specific theme of a holiday and expand on it-can result in a great outfit!
Walk the Talk and be festive! There is no better time than to pull out that embarrassing grandma sweater for Christmas and possibly spice it up etc! Look at websites such as Urban Outfitters, you will see there is nothing wrong with something that is a little whimsical!
