In a State of Travel

I have done many trips in the car and consider myself "pro" on what to bring and entertain myself with.
Here are factoids I find most helpful:

What you wear can greatly effect your time in the car. Stay comfortable but do not do it to the point of gym clothes or pajamas...that is a bad idea because you will still be going in public.

Stick to the basics: Oversized t-shirts, leggings, jeans, etc.
The key is to wear sandals so you can slip them on and off as you desire. I usually pack socks because I have never liked bare feet.

Day One Outfit: Shirt from volunteering at Miami International Fashion Week, Michael Kors Shall, and Jorts from the Goodwill.

Oversized Max Studio Shirt and Ann Taylor Loft Jean Shorts

After the outfit, there are several other things you need to keep in mind.
There is a need to be a way to ensure comfort incase you want to fall asleep, therefore, a snuggie and pillows came in handy.  Another key item is having snacks. The last thing you want to be is hungry on the road!

The last thing is to have something to keep you occupied, help the time go by...
I chose tv series on my portable dvd player that was given to me as a Christmas present before our first family road trip.

Since it is summer, I know many will be traveling and I hope some of this information would be helpful.
Bon voyage!
