Finders Keepers

My mom and I finally had the opportunity to go to a consignment shop that we have ultimately been unable to attend. Every time we decide to make the trip, it is always closed but today was finally our lucky day.  The wait was well worth it.

From the first moment that I walked in the store, these Tory Burch sandals were calling my name.  At a great price and nearly no wear or tear, I had to have them.

While my mom continued to shop, I found myself in a conversation with the owner of the store.  It seemed as if we talked for hours about our love for the fashion industry.  Not long into our conversation, she decided to show me some of the special pieces that she had kept hidden.

Out came a pair of vintage YSL earrings that I had to have. A basic pair of chunky costume clip-on earrings that were so basic but had that old charm.

If you are not ready for the Goodwill, going to a consignment store may be a better option to get your toes wet in pre-worn clothing.
Unique findings allow you to feel like you have a special piece of clothing/accessory that is purely yours...I find it to be the best way to express your individuality.
